Coming to Keighley this May is Rombald’s Rocks; a sculpture trail brought to you by Leonie Briggs and Keighley Creative that takes inspiration from local legend and creator of Ilkley’s Cow and Calf Rocks, Rombald the Giant.

About the project

Mr and Mrs Rombald have been throwing rocks again and one of them has shattered into 10 small pieces. The bits of rock have sprouted legs and arms and have run away to Keighley to embark on their own adventures.

Head to Keighley town centre and see the unique sculptures decorated by local artists and community groups. You’ll find Rombald’s Rocks all around town, with a free trail map alongside free and fun activities including workshops, storytelling, an exhibition and music.

For more information on Rombald’s Rocks: Keighley Sculpture Trail, visit keighleycreative.org, follow @keighleycreative on social media and keep an eye on local press and posters around Keighley.
